Somewhere near Gibraltar, where the sea meets the ocean, an idea was born — a place where people could meet each other. Two guys named John met on a yacht. The meeting itself was pure Joinly. Jokes were flying, stories were shared. And the ingredient for the best stories? Real experiences, great people. The conversation turned to how amazing it is to meet the right people. But it's not always easy. And so the idea was born to create a place where like-minded people could meet and do something together. Joinly.
Joinly was created with a simple goal: helping people meet in the real world. Because the best things in life happen offline.
The idea for Joinly was born shortly after the COVID pandemic. People had been locked away for too long, and the desire to reconnect was growing. So was the feeling of loneliness. Two Johns met on a boat. "I'd love to put together an amateur band," said one of them, a developer through and through. "And I'd like to sometimes sit down with colleagues while traveling," said the other, a pilot who flies both planes and businesses. Finding like-minded people isn't always easy. That's exactly why Joinly was created.
We believe that many good things in life start very simply. Someone has an idea. Someone else joins in. And sometimes it turns into a friendship, a community, or a new experience. Our vision is to create a place where such encounters can begin.
Everyone has different interests. Joinly helps you find people who are on the same wavelength.
Someone comes up with an idea. Someone else joins in. Just say: "Let's go."
A trip. Sports. A meetup. An adventure. The best things start when people meet.
Joinly is an independent Czech project, funded entirely by its founders. It was born from a simple idea: helping people meet again in the real world. Behind Joinly are three owners who believe technology can bring people together — not separate them. The project grows steadily, step by step. But always with heart.
Joinly is built by a small team of experienced people from different fields. We share a passion for creating things that make sense. And since Joinly was born on a boat, it's no surprise that we love adventure and new ideas. We use Joinly ourselves when we want to do something together.
